Delivery of wedding cakes is free to local venues.
We will deliver your cake to your venue at a specified time and set the cake up on the cake table the venue have provided.
Some venues have the cake table in a prominant and well lit position, however we have occassionally set up cakes in an out of the way dark corner of the venue where the cake isn't properly on show and/or too dark to see the detailing on the cake. When viewing your venue we recommend asking to see where the cake will be displayed and if you feel it isn't the right place ask for it to be set up in a better postion. The cake is the focal point of the wedding and needs to be seen.
We will contact the venue a few days before delivery to confirm times for setting up the cake. We will also supply the venue with information regarding the cake flavours, allergens, any inedible decorations on the cake, which will need to be removed before serving and internal construction elements also to be removed before serving the cake to your guests.

Delivery charges
There is a delivery charge for venues out side Greater Manchester, however some couples prefer to collect their cake to save on this charge. Most cake designs are easily set up at your venue and we will show you how to do this when you collect your wedding cake. We will also advise, at the time of booking, whether your chosen cake design is suitable for collection or if we feel it would be better if we deliver and set up the cake.
If you do choose to collect your wedding cake to save on the delivery charge and it is damaged in transit or when setting up the cake at your venue we will not be responsible for it. Once you have taken the cake from us at our studio the cake becomes your responsibility. We recommend the cake is transported in a car boot and driven to the venue carefully and relatively slowly.
Please contact Rachel for further information.
For smaller wedding cakes there may be a mileage charge depending on distance, please contact Rachel for more information.
All smaller cakes are for collection. It may sometimes be possible to deliver your cake depending on distance and there will be a delivery cost.
