We always manage to find the best cake shop wherever we go. Our recent holiday to Slovenia was no exception the best cakes were to be had in a small cafe in a very pretty little town in the foothills of the Julian Alps. The cakes were exceptional, so good we went there almost every day.
This picture I had to share it was made with fresh straberries, sponge, pastry and cream.
Despite the fact that we were walking or cycling every day in the mountains I didn't manage to loose any weight. This cake might have something to do with it.
